An heirloom story written about your wedding day.
The Wedding Novella | How it Works
In a nutshell: We attend your wedding, gather all the best stories from your guests, and take lots of notes as we witness the day. Then, we craft a custom story of your wedding, bind it in an heirloom book, as well as deliver it digitally.
What We Create
Today, you’re twenty five, thirty five, forty-some years old. You’ve loved your partner awhile now, learned to anticipate which smile will be the crooked one, which will have the smirk, how to get their laugh to raise from cute to wild. It’s a love spun over years, but not decades. Not yet.
One day you’re going to be seventy, eighty, ninety years old. Grandkids or grandcats will be prancing around the property. That tree you planted in the front yard, from the first days after you bought this house, is now old enough to know the sky.
It’s your fiftieth anniversary. Your kids, your friends, ask about the wedding day.
You have pictures, and they’re perfect.
But you also have context, story, and a whole different kind of memory.
You know why Grandpa was laughing like that in the photos of the cake cutting. You know what Aunt Jen whispered, grinning, while you said your vows. You have the day recalled, from the heady anticipation at breakfast, to the last dance. We put words to the sights, the smells, the tastes, the emotions and where they came from.
This is the purpose of the Wedding Novella.
We want this to be something you cherish in the months after the wedding.
And we want this to be a time capsule of your day, something passed through your family for generations, something for your great-great grandchildren or great-great grand nieces to read and say, Huh, they sound a little like me.
